This art piece was made as my Christmas artwork for 2022, featuring an old character made by my good friend, Astraleda.
It shows my Yoshi-sona and Astraleda's character staring at Astra's home planet.
They manage to get there by travelling through rifts in time and space (with help from the two ghosts, Dolkinoa and Erioka).
I did a lot of experimenting with patterns, the blur effect and rotation features on Pixilart to create the rifts and background.
I wanted to break away from the usual Christmas features (Santa, reindeer, candy canes and all that jazz) and create something space themed.

The artwork's name is inspired by a space themed song called 'Space Plus One' by Nigel Good, released on Monstercat back in 2015.
The rifts are inpsired by Astraleda's own song called 'Rift'.
This is one of my most popular artworks to date (on Pixilart anyway, thanks Calamity Summer 💜). I'm super proud of this one.
This art piece is dedicated to the song 'Skydreamer' by Infowler and features vocals from Azuria Sky.
It shows Mordson before the redesign sleeping on a cloud and dreaming of home.
Izzy and David Infowler watch over him with Azuria Sky in a cloud in the distance.
Skydreamer was released in late January 2022 as part of the compilation 'Colour Bass Volume 3' headed by Chime.
With 100,000+ plays on Spotify, this melodic masterpiece could be regarded as one of Infowler's most successful releases.
A VIP version was released later in May as part of 'Rushdown 100'.
This art piece was for commemorating the new year (2022);
I used ChelleDoggo's OC called 'Blue' who can be seeing floating on top of Mordson (before he became Amplified Concord).
Blue was actually conceived by ChelleDoggo and her IRL family as some sort of mascot for the new year; her mother always saw him as a bunny and Chelle always
saw him as an elf, so she decided to combine both to make a hybrid.
This artpiece was made with the description, "No fireworks, just bright blue dust" to break away form the traditional New Years fireworks.
I had recycled Mordson's model from a pre-saved pixl from another drawing and changed his facial expression only slightly.
